1 John 5: 14-15...And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he heareth us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

St. Mark 11:23-24...For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith...Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye recieve them, and ye shall have them.

What should I know to have an effective prayer relationship with God? I should know to have an effective prayer relationship with God that prayers are a matter of heart. Allow the Holy Spirit to make the Word of God a reality in your heart and the Holy Spirit will quicken God's Word and cause you to think like God thinks and talk like He talks. Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.

You will find yourself pouring out and hungering for the more of God. Meditate upon the Holy Scriptures as you prepare to pray.  Prayer is designed to help you get better acquainted with your heavenly Father and His Word.

God's Word affects your life and others through you. Walk in the counsel of God and share his wisdom through your prayer life and relationship with God through His Holy Word. 

"CHOICE, NOT CHANCE, DETERMINES HUMAN DESTINY"...

I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live...Duet. 30:19

"Prayer should be the key of the morning and the lock of the night"...

It is good to praise the Lord...to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night...Psm. 92:1,2

"WHEN God measures a man, He puts the tape measure around the heart instead of the head"...

...the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart...I Sam. 16:7(b)

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone...James 2:17

CONDITIONS FOR ANSWERED PRAYER

What does God expect of us when we come to him in prayer?

OBEDIENCE to God is a vital  condition for answered prayer. (1 John 3:22)

CONFESS YOUR SINS to God so that your sins will no longer stand in thw way. (Matt.6:12)

DON'T LET YOUR MOTIVES BE SELFISH. (Matt. 6:5-6)

BELIEVE have full faith in God's love, mercy and promises and expect answers. (James 1:5-6)

BE EXTREMELY GREATFUL TO GOD and express thanksgiving and praise. (Plilip. 4:6)

BE WHOLEHEARTED , FERVENT AND PASSIONATE IN PRAYER. (James 5:16)

ALLOW GOD TO GUIDE AND INSPIRE YOU WITH HIS HOLY SPIRIT. (St. John 14:26)
